Where should QSL bring the hotness?

First off… 25% of all daily comments to Quaker Steak & Lube’s social media properties read like this: “BRING YOUR PLACE TO MY PLACE!” How could we take those posts and turn them into qualitative and quantitative data?

So we… Created a Facebook app that allowed visitors to nominate and later vote on where they wanted QSL to build their next location. Even better – we encouraged in-store visits to existing restaurants by giving a 10% coupon every time a customer voted.

And then… We gave the brand valuable market research while heightening awareness and finding more than one potential new region for expansion. Oh yeah – Toledo won and the location opened a few months later!
